The Hays County Commissioners Court will hold a meeting at 09:00 A.M. on the 25th day of July, in the Hays County Courthouse, Room 301, San Marcos, Texas. Discussion and possible action to approve initial selection of engineering consultants as follows to negotiate scopes of work and fee proposals: Kimley-Horn and Associates to provide design services and right-of-way acquisition services  and HNTB Corporation to provide design services for two segments of the FM 2001 realignment project between I-35 and SH 21; Brown & Gay to provide design services for the FM 967 upgrade project from the Union Pacific Railroad in downtown Buda to I-35; and, Rogers Design Services to provide environmental documentation and design services for the FM 967 safety turn lane projects at Ball Field and west of FM 1626. Approval of contracts and work authorizations integrating the negotiated scopes of work and fee proposals would be taken by the Hays County Commissioners Court at a later date. JONES

Discussion and possible action to consider the nomination of Hays County to be the primary Service Delivery Area (SDA) liaison for the Travis Medicaid Managed Care SDA in connection with the development of a Medicaid Uniform Hospital Rate Improvement Program (UHRIP) for the benefit of the hospitals in the SDA and the appointment of Lon Shell and Mark Kennedy as representatives of Hays County in this matter. The Commissioners Court may also announce it will go into Executive Session, if necessary, to receive advice from Legal Counsel regarding any other item on this agenda.
