The Hays County Commissioners Court will hold a meeting at 9:00 A.M. on the 31th day of May, in the Hays County Courthouse, Room 301, San Marcos, Texas. Discussion and possible action to authorize the Sheriff’s Office to hire one new Deputy SRO position for the Hays Consolidated Independent School District ("HCISD") effective August 1st using salary savings for the 25% cost share; and to authorize the County Judge to execute a 2nd Letter Amendment to the Interlocal Cooperation Agreement between Hays County and HCISD. Discussion and possible action to approve an Order by the Commissioners Court of Hays County, Texas, authorizing the issuance of "Hays County, Texas Pass-Through Toll Revenue and Limited Tax Bonds;" Levying an annual ad valorem tax, within limitations prescribed by law, for the payment of the Bonds and further securing said Bonds by a lien on and pledge of certain pledged revenues; prescribing the form, terms, conditions, and resolving other matters incident and related to the issuance, sale, and delivery of the Bonds; authorizing the execution of a Paying Agent/Registrar Agreement and a Purchase Contract; Delegating the authority to certain members of the Commissioners Court and County staff to execute certain documents relating to the sale of the Bonds. EXECUTIVE SESSIONS
The Commissioners Court will announce it will go into Executive Session, if necessary, pursuant to Chapter 551 of the Texas Government Code, to receive advice from Legal Counsel to discuss matters of land acquisition, litigation, and personnel matters as specifically listed on this agenda. The Commissioners Court may also announce it will go into Executive Session, if necessary, to receive advice from Legal Counsel regarding any other item on this agenda.
